Established in 1992, Pedal the Peaks has been around the block a time or two. Started by the man, David Howard, the shop has deep roots in the mountain bike community here in Durango. It is safe to say, this little spot has seen a lot in it’s time. From David, we now see Shirley Gonzales and Kevin Barton as our new owners. Great people who are all about two wheels and have some big goals down the road.

We are all about our people and community. Pedal the Peaks emphasizes providing quality service, local knowledge, and a good customer experience. We are bike lovers, riders and racers, all of the crew supports a simple goal, more people on bikes, and more importantly, happy people on happy bikes!
